    Video Shows Coyote Fight A Rattlesnake: Report

    MESA, AZ – What is it about rattlesnakes? Are they the animal bullies of the desert or just really good targets for larger animals? For the second time in a week, a rattlesnake has been captured on video in a fight with another animal. ABC15 reports that one of heir viewers captured a rattlesnake and coyote going at it by Baseline and Recker Roads in Mesa. The video shows the coyote lunging at the snake a few times.     JV Acquires $200M AZ Development

    Glencoe, Ill.–based Optima Inc. has reinvested in the Optima Sonoran Village apartment community in Scottsdale, Ariz., through a partnership with Des Moines, Ia.-based Principal Real Estate Investors Inc. The partnership acquired Optima Sonoran Village Phases I and II for $200 million from an existing Optima-sponsored venture. JLL brokered the equity for the deal. In addition to acquiring the two existing phases, the new partnership plans to develop the capstone of the village, Optima Sonoran Village Phase III.     GLL Real Estate Partners, a Munich, Germany-based real estate fund management group, acquired the 226,358-square-foot Lincoln Towne Centre in Scottsdale, AZ from Transwestern for nearly $69 million, or approximately $305 per square foot. The sale included two, five-story office buildings at 4150-4250 N. Drinkwater Blvd. that were built in 1999. The complex has a diversified tenant roster including Wounded Warrior Project, First Advantage and CNA National, among others. Eastdil Secured represented the seller, Transwestern, who originally acquired Lincoln Towne Centre for $58.5 million in February 2015.
